Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all contracts between PrivacyChat and customers for the use of the GDPR-compliant AI chat service.

2. Service Description

PrivacyChat provides a chat service that:

• Provides a ChatGPT-like user interface
• Automatically detects and masks personally identifiable information (PII)
• Forwards masked requests to LLM providers
• Unmasks responses and returns them

3. No BYOK Option

PrivacyChat uses its own API keys for LLM providers. Customers do not need their own API keys. LLM costs are included in the subscription.

4. Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime. Maintenance windows will be announced in advance.

5. Liability

PrivacyChat is not liable for:

• Outages of LLM providers
• Undetected PII (we recommend additional review for critical data)
• Indirect damages or lost profits
• Content of LLM responses

6. Pricing and Payment

Current prices are available on our website. Payments are due monthly in advance.

7. Termination

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the billing period.

8. Governing Law

German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.
